Summer Reception: Celebrating Transitions
Date: Tuesday 7 July 2026 (18:30-20:30)
Location: La Terrasse de la Paix, Chem. Eugène-Rigot 2E, 1202 Geneva (Maison de la Paix, petal 5)
By invitation only
After some four years as Executive Director of 2050Today, Jean-Pierre Reymond’s tenure comes to an end this summer and new diplomatic horizons await him.
The creation, establishment and development of 2050Today, the Geneva Climate Action Forum, have been a wonderful journey that he has had the great pleasure of leading alongside all the partners and members. Starting with an initial pilot project involving a handful of permanent missions and international organisations that were as pioneering as they were innovative, we have worked together to establish a framework for reference and action to decarbonise International Geneva and beyond.
Today, more than sixty organisations from Geneva’s international community are involved in the 2050Today climate initiative. Aline Bochenek-Benoit, Head of Development, Communications and Training, and Ancelin Coulon, Head of Sustainability, will take over as co-directors.
To continue on this journey together, this reception will celebrate transitions.
