The International Olympic Committee wins the 2050Today “Low Carbon” award “

Between the 2016-2019 and 2021-2024 benchmark emissions, the International Olympic Committee (IOC)  has reduced its carbon footprint by 30%, an intermediate step toward its goal of a 50% reduction by 2030.

The Permanent Mission of Mexico wins the 2050Today “Engagement” Award

The Best Practices Handbook is a key component of the communication and training pillar of the Environmental Action Plan of the Permanent Mission of Mexico.
Its message is clear: with simple changes in how we work, consume, and interact with our environment, we can reduce our ecological footprint and help build a more sustainable present and future—from every office and every individual.

The jury highlighted this straightforward yet effective approach to translating international commitments into concrete actions, noting its replicability and wide reach, as it was distributed to more than 400 staff members at the Permanent Mission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Developed in English, Spanish, and French, the handbook is available to the 2050Today members community.
