HEG-Geneva and 2050Today: A Partnership for Sustainability

April 16, 2025 – The Geneva School of Business Administration (HEG-Geneva), through its Laboratory for Information Technologies (LTI), and 2050Today, Geneva’s Climate Action Forum, have just signed a partnership for the development of a platform dedicated to the Carbon Footprint of communities.

The partnership was signed on Monday, April 7, 2025, at HEG-Geneva by Andrea Baranzini, Director of HEG-Geneva, and Jean-Pierre Reymond, Executive Director of 2050Today, in the presence of Marianne Bayat-Ricard, Head of the Business Information Technology program at HEG-Geneva, Maxence Mermoz, LTI Coordinator, and Nathan Masnada, Head of Sustainability at 2050Today.

Objective
With the expertise of the LTI, the goal is to develop an interactive platform that allows 2050Today members to measure their carbon footprint, create a personalized action plan, and track their progress over time.

A partnership focused on climate impact, based on complementary expertise (technical, environmental, educational), to sustainably support communities in achieving carbon neutrality, make climate action accessible and tangible, standardize and ensure the reliability of carbon data collection, and promote ownership of climate issues.
