2050Today is a partnership of the Swiss Confederation, the Republic and Canton of Geneva, the City of Geneva, the University of Geneva and Industrial Services of Geneva (SIG). This unique initiative by Swiss authorities of all levels supports the decarbonization of International Geneva.
In accordance with the 2050Today Charter, we mobilize climate action by helping our members measure their emissions, implement common and customized solutions through working groups and benefit from applied research.
Each year, 2050Today brings together its members and partners for an annual meeting to track progress, share inspiration with the International Geneva community, and celebrate collective achievements.

As an institution, 2050Today calculates the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of its activities every year. 2050Today’s GHG emissions measurement methodology follows the GHG Protocol.
