2050Today, in partnership with the Département du Territoire (DT) of the Canton of Geneva, organises a presentation and a field visit on about nocturnal ecological network.

Geneva’s nocturnal ecological networks represent night-time management objectives designed to preserve or improve ecological connectivity across the region, in conjunction with the ecological infrastructure.

Using maps, the presentation will help participants understand the scope and challenges of the nocturnal ecological networks, particularly in the International Geneva district. Participants will then be able to put the measures presented into practice within their own organisations.

An overview of the event La nuit est belle! is also on the agenda.

2050Today, in cooperation with the Canton de Genève and the Ville de Genève, organizes a visit of Domaine Rigot in the heart of the International Geneva.

This 1,000 m² urban nursery supports the State of Geneva’s climate goals. Like other tree nurseries already established in the city, it aims to strengthen urban tree coverage by selecting plant species suited to the local environment.

1. Visit of the Domaine Rigot’s garden center (10:00-11:15)

with Tiphaine Bussy, Cheffe de Projet, Département du territoire (DT), Direction arbres et renaturation urbain, Canton de Genève 

2. Group discussion (11:15-12:00)

with the contribution of the Ville de Genève.
